Greetings from Oak Grove! Thank you for your interest in our school. Oak Grove Lutheran School is a private school founded in 1906. Our campus rests amidst a beautiful park setting along the Red River in Fargo, North Dakota. Fargo is a safe, peaceful community with top rated colleges, universities and excellent medical facilities. Our area is known for its friendly people with good, Midwestern values.
Oak Grove has a proven reputation for academic quality and successful education provided by a caring and committed teaching staff. We offer an exciting and diverse learning experience within a Christian environment that broadens the education of young men and women from all over the world. The school’s strong academic program prepares students for entry into colleges and universities across the United States.
Enrollment: 460 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12; up to 25 international students from multiple countries
Accreditation: Fully accredited academic program, maintaining NCA-CASI accreditation with high standards for excellence since 1926. “Accredited with Commendation” from the State of North Dakota, achieving 100% of all required standards.
Campus: Beautiful wooded setting covering 5.3 acres. Five major buildings comprise the campus. Located in the Fargo-Moorhead area, population 174,000.
International Coordinator: An international coordinator is available to assist all international students with matters relating to academic and personal concerns. Orientation for new students is planned for each semester to help students adjust to Oak Grove Lutheran School, the metro area, and life in the United States. Individual tutorials and classroom support are provided.
International Student Application:
We are excited that you are interested in attending Oak Grove for an international experience. We have open enrollment while space is available.We welcome students applying for semester, yearlong and diploma seeking experiences. In order to apply, a few things will be required at the time of submitting your application.
1. Application fee of $150. A confirmation number will be required in the application process from the choices below.

c. Wire Transfer
2. If you elect to have funds wired, please download the wire transfer instructions here. Once you have completed the wire transfer you will receive a confirmation number. This confirmation number will be needed in the application.
3. Please have a current individual photo available to attach to the application.
4. Please have a Skype account set up. Your Skype user name will be required on the application.
5. Please have your passport available to input your passport number for verification.
6. You must have taken the SLEP test prior to filling out this application. Your score is needed to complete the application.
If you have all of the above information, to
apply online to Oak Grove Lutheran School. After your application is submitted, additional materials will be provided to complete the process.
***NOTE: In the 2011-2012 school year, Oak Grove Lutheran School will not offer health insurance for international students due to the health care reform (October 1, 2010). However, all students must have proof of insurance upon arrival. International health care insurance must be purchased independently in your home country prior to departure.
