The 2010 Spring Gala & Auction promises to be a wonderful evening of dinner, donating, and dancing – all to support the students and programs of Oak Grove Lutheran School.
Join Co-Chairs Alesha Leslie and Michele Pundsack, along with a host of volunteers and avid Oak Grove supporters, for a great night of entertainment! Kick off the evening with an Hors d’oeuvres Social and Silent Auction, featuring John Miles on the piano. A gourmet dinner and the Live Auction will follow. Wrap up the night with friends at the Gala After Party, featuring the great sounds of Acoustic Addiction. Come and enjoy, you won’t want to miss this special event!
“Serving as Co-Chair of the Spring Gala & Auction has been a great honor and has given me the opportunity to get to know so many new and wonderful people,” says Alesha Leslie. "As we embark on the adventure of educating our children, my husband and I have placed our faith in the Oak Grove community and that faith has already presented great rewards and opportunities. Our daughter feels as if Oak Grove is an extension of her home, and we feel as if the school is an extension of our family. The Spring Gala & Auction will be a great event which will provide great hope and support to the future of our children!”

As a second-year parent at Oak Grove, this position has allowed me to meet so many parents and staff and has provided me with great knowledge and understanding of the Oak Grove community,” says Michele Pundsack, Gala Co-Chair. "My husband, Chad, and I feel that Oak Grove is a perfect fit for our family and we feel blessed to be a part of Oak Grove. I look forward to a great event and feel confident that this year’s Spring Gala & Auction will be a true success.”
Featured live auction items include round-trip travel and lodging to exciting destinations, special evenings around town, gourmet parties, golf and fishing trips, works of art, front row tickets to entertainment events and so much more. Silent auction treasures run a wide gamut – we assure you there will be something for everyone!
The dinner entrée will offer a choice of Filet Mignon or Crab Stuffed Salmon, along with delicious accompaniments and a signature dessert.
Reservations for the event may be purchased individually for $50 a ticket or by table sponsorship for $1,000, which includes the Hors d’oeuvres Social, dinner for 8 and the After Party, along with a full-page ad in the Gala program booklet and recognition in Oak Grove publications. A portion of the sponsorship cost is tax-deductible.
