Tuition Aid

Tuition Aid

An Oak Grove education is an investment in your child’s future. Ever mindful of the sacrifices that families make, Oak Grove is committed to helping our families meet the cost of private education.

Tuition Aid Program

We are pleased to offer a very good Tuition Aid Program. Nearly half of Oak Grove students benefit from this program each year, thanks to the generosity of parents, friends, alumni, churches and foundations.

Financial aid is awarded in three categories:

  • need-based aid
    • includes grants and work study. Parents apply for aid through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment program.
  • merit-based scholarships
    • are competitive, awarded on the basis of achievement and involvement. They are awarded in the spring of each year for the following fall; application deadlines do apply.
  • mandated discounts
    • provided for families who have more than one child attending Oak Grove, as well as for families of ordained pastors and employees of Oak Grove Lutheran School and Concordia College.

Oak Grove uses FACTS Management Company to facilitate its tuition collection. All families are required to sign up for an actively managed payment plan. This service allows you to have the opportunity to pay in full, by semester or schedule monthly payments. Pay tuition in full by August 15 and receive a 2% discount.

In addition to completing college applications, taking standardized tests and finishing school with a strong GPA, high school seniors should also devote some time to apply for scholarships. They are an excellent way to supplement the cost of tuition, books, room and board, and other expenses. And the best part is that they don’t have to be paid back. EVER. Why not take advantage of it?

If the thought of winning a scholarship seems impossible, you’re probably not looking in the right places. Sure, there will be lots of competition but if you only apply for the scholarships that pertain specifically to you and your unique situation, your chances of winning increase significantly. Some scholarships are easy to apply for and some require work, but you won’t receive any awards unless you apply...so call 701-237-0210 today and get started!
