My goal, and that of my staff, is to lead the investment in people and programs, and insure that each day every student is immersed in rigorous academics, engulfed in faith development, and afforded service leadership opportunities. Our expectations are high, and we challenge our students to make a difference on campus, in their communities, and around the world.

Oak Grove Lutheran School’s high school program is located at its north campus at 124 North Terrace in Fargo. The school’s small, intimate 5.35 acre north campus rests amidst a beautiful park setting along the Red River in Fargo, North Dakota.
At Oak Grove, class sizes are limited to ensure a quality classroom experience and individual attention – no one is ever lost in the crowd. Our caring, committed and experienced staff encourages students to work hard for academic success. The average classroom consists of 17 students (K-12) and Oak Grove’s overall student-to-teacher ratio is 12:1. Oak Grove’s graduating class sizes are typically between 50-60 students, creating the small school feel in the thriving Fargo community.
Oak Grove has a fully-accredited, college preparatory academic program that has maintained NCA-CASI accreditation with high standards for excellence since 1926. Oak Grove students consistently score higher than national and state averages in achievement tests and more than 96% of graduates pursue degrees in higher education. The high school academic program includes Advanced Placement (AP) classes and dual-credit opportunities with Concordia College. The school also offers distant learning opportunities through on-line courses with Lutheran High School of Orange County, California, as well as access to the Skills & Technology Consortium.
Christian ministry is central to Oak Grove Lutheran School’s mission and is the core of the school. The school integrates faith and values into the learning experience, providing a strong foundation for life. Oak Grove has an active Campus Ministry program where students can grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with God. The entire north campus community gathers daily for chapel services in which faculty, staff, students and community members share their faith and spread the news of the Gospel. All students take Christian Studies courses that are designed for personal growth in each student’s faith journey.
The Oak Grove community puts its faith into action by showing concern for those around us. Each year students, faculty and staff devote a great deal of time to service. Students put their faith to work in many ways, including mission trips, community service, supporting local projects and charities, and giving back to the school. Oak Grove students participate in Christian Studies classes where they essentially learn to have meaningful faith filled conversations and learn how God’s word applies to their lives and the choices that they make.
Oak Grove is committed to offering students cutting-edge technology to make the transition to higher education or the world of work seamless and easy.
Multiple opportunities exist for student participation in a wide range of co-curricular activities and athletics. All students are encouraged to take an active role in the school community and find their own special niche. There’s something for everyone at Oak Grove, from music to athletics, from theatre arts to leadership. Our athletic teams find success in competition and our music groups win performance awards and tour the area and nation annually. Travel opportunities abound at Oak Grove, such as Close Up, Choir Tour, mission trips and more.
Oak Grove also has an International Program in which students from other countries receive an Oak Grove education and live the American way of life.
