The choir is setting off on tour!
Oak Grove Lutheran School’s 47-voice Concert Choir, directed by Aaron Zinter, will leave on its annual tour on March 21. The choir will travel to the southwest portion of the United States this year. The group will cover almost 4,000 miles on their 8-day tour, visiting five states, giving seven concerts and singing at Sunday morning church services. Each concert will feature selections on faith, hope and love, and will include songs by composers Felix Mendelssohn, Sergei Rachmaninoff, F. Melius Christiansen, Eric Whitacre, Frank Ticheli and Aaron Zinter.
The choir will return to Fargo on March 28, giving their final tour concert, their “Home Concert,” in Oak Grove’s Scheels Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m.
There is no charge for the concert; a free-will offering will be taken to help defray tour expenses. The tour itinerary is as follows; we hope you can join us at one of the performances. Come and share in the artistry and spirit of the Oak Grove Concert Choir as they sing glory to God through song!

In addition to tours and concerts on campus, Oak Grove choirs appear regularly before church and civic groups, and on radio and television. Oak Grove choirs perform a wide variety of inspirational and sacred music, proclaiming God’s glory by expressing faith through songs of joy and inspiration. Oak Grove’s annual Christmas Concert celebrates the glory of Christ’s birth, and draws hundreds to the much-loved event.
Oak Grove students now have the opportunity to perform in a space designed specifically for the fine arts. The Scheels Center for the Performing Arts was completed in 2007, complete with two rehearsal halls, practice rooms, instrument storage and a large performance hall.
