Oak Grove Lutheran School incorporates the theatre arts at all program levels. The high school presents a one-act play in the fall and a muscial in the spring. The school also has a drama class and utilizes the new Scheels Center for the Performing Arts at Oak Grove's north campus for its performance venue. The middle school and elementary school presents musicals in the spring.

Oak Grove presented the musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, March 13-16 in the Scheels Center for the Performing Arts. It was a great success!
The musical was directed by Rusty J. Bender.

Oak Grove presented Collage at the North Dakota regional competition at Valley City State University on November 8.
The students placed fourth at the competition. Sophomore Gretchen Haga received the Superior Actress Award and junior Marc Koeck received an honorable mention.

In the 2006-2007 school year, the middle school program presented the musical Your Love is Amazing and the elementary program presented the musical To See a Miracle.
