Campus Ministry Team
This year our Campus Ministry Team will be comprised of David Ness (Director of Campus Ministries), Kim Forness (Children & Family Ministries), Bob Noel (Youth Ministry, Education & Missions), and Morgan Forness (School Climate). Throughout the school year, we will continue to meet and prayerfully consider how to best serve our entire Oak Grove community, prepare for special events on campus, partner with families and community resources, and encourage our faculty and staff.
This year’s Student Chaplains (Lydia Stinar, Heather Zimmerman, Tatijana Muller-Dahlberg, Zach Frappier) and Chapel Board/Peer Ministry Team will provide valuable student leadership to campus ministries. Also representing the student body on Chapel Board/Peer Ministry Team are Kyrsten Remus, Scott Anderson, Rodrigo Otero, Ashley Jacobs, Andy Rothfusz, Anna Kozlowski, David Berg, Becca Asheim, Josh Teigen, Hannah Amundson, Jackie Grosz, Allison Bock, and Breanne Steffan. |

Recent Ministry News
Homeless & Hungry
Posted: Jun 26, 08 | Oak Grove students, staff, and families will once again have the opportunity to participate in “Homeless & Hungry” on October 3-5. This year’s event has grown to include over two dozen F-M churches and schools to date. Each participant is asked to fast for 30 hours, sleep outside in a cardboard box, raise at least $365 (enough money to feed a person for a year), and get at least 10 prayer sponsors.
This year, to help spread the visibility and impact of the event, Oak Grove will be one of many host sites. Registration for the entire event will take place at Oak Grove with the goal to have 1,000 individuals taking part. With the potential growth of this event, planning has started early.

| | This February, with direction from Oak Grove’s Board of Regents, David Ness and Kimberly Forness of Oak Grove and Pastor Paul Nynaas of Hope Lutheran Church in Fargo had the opportunity to travel to Luther Seminary to conduct interviews with potential internship candidates to serve jointly at Hope Lutheran and Oak Grove. We are excited to announce that Tony Sayler will be joining us this August for an exciting year of partnership in ministry. | |
