| Changes Coming with FACTS | In March, there will be changes made to FACTS, the management company Oak Grove uses for tuition payments for the 2010-2011 school year (beginning July 1, 2010). All families, new and returning, will be required to sign up for an actively managed payment plan right from Oak Grove’s website. There will be a new registration and re-enrollment process where families have more access and ways to manage tuition payments. You will select your payment option (monthly, semester, annual) on-line. Oak Grove will no longer require families to complete the gold Payment Plan Worksheet annually.
Advances made to the FACTS system include:
· Convenient online payment plan sign-up
· Maintain your demographic and financial account information online
· Receive e-mail reminders before your payment is due
· On-line tuition payments
· Multiple payment options
· Web-based interface for account viewing
More details about these changes will follow in the coming weeks via the mail. If you have questions in advance, please contact Oak Grove’s Business Office at 701.373.7147 or 701.373.7146. |
| Men’s Prayer Group | Oak Grove parents and staff have formed a Men’s Prayer Group that meets on Monday mornings at 6:50 a.m. in the Hektner Chapel at the north campus to pray for the needs of the school. It is understood that individual schedules may allow people to meet at some times and not at others. All adult men are welcome to join the group at any time! Please contact David Ness at 701.373.7113 or Roger Olson at 701.730.8421 with any questions. |
| Moms In Touch | All Oak Grove moms are invited to join Moms In Touch, a prayer groups that meets at Oak Grove weekly to pray for the needs of the school. Recent Parent News
| Posted at 4:30 p.m. on March 17, 2010 – Oak Grove Lutheran School will hold classes as usual at its north campus on Thursday, March 18. Middle school students will be in class all day as normal; high school students may be deployed into the neighborhood or community if needed to assist with sandbagging efforts. Students are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather and bring boots and gloves with them.
Reminder: Oak Grove asks that all students car pool or be dropped off at campus as parking is limited. Students who drive to campus are asked to park in the Scheels Center parking lot and on side streets; please pay close attention to all posted street parking signs. The center campus parking lot is reserved for Oak Grove faculty and staff. The City of Fargo has asked that we do not park on South Terrace by the school, as they will be placing the clay dike across South Terrace tomorrow.
Oak Grove Lutheran School, pre-kindergarten through grade 12, will not hold classes on Friday, March 19 due to the North Dakota Class B State Boys’ Basketball Tournament and the predicted crest of the Red River. Any updates or changes will be communicated through our website and e-mail list serve system. | |
| From the Business Office Posted: Mar 16, 10 | Oak Grove families recently received the 2010-2011 tuition and fee information for Oak Grove Lutheran School. Unfortunately, there were two typographical errors on the tuition and fee schedule. The middle and elementary school tuition listed were identified as semester costs. They are not semester costs, but they are annual costs for tuition. The correct tuition and fee information is currently being mailed to each family.
Each family will be receiving a separate mailing that details tuition reduction options for next year, including Merit Based Scholarship information for grades 6-12. Please see that mailing for discount information (sibling, pastor, Concordia College, and Oak Grove staff discounts), tuition aid application information, and more.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this error caused. If you have any questions about the tuition and fees for 2010-2011 or how to set up your personal FACTS Management Co. account for next year, please feel free to contact JoLynn Schmid at 701.373.7146. |
