Fair Trade Christmas Baskets

Oak Grove's Mission Resource Center and student-led impACT organization will once again be assembling and selling Fair Trade Christmas Baskets this year.  Each basket will contain a 12 oz package of Just Coffee from Bolivia, two Divine Chocolate Bars from Lutheran World Relief's Chocolate Project in Ghana, Africa, and a beautiful hand-painted ornament from Casa Romero in Cuernavaca, Mexico.  Each basket costs $30.00 and will be neatly packaged and ready for pickup in the high school office of Arvid Benson Hall on Wednesday, December 17.

Fair Trade Baskets are a gift that gives thrice.  Purchasing fair trade through Oak Grove, stimulates a system that guarantees fair wages for coffee growers in Central and South America, cacao farmers in Ghana, Africa and gifted artisans from Cuernavaca, Mexico.  Fair Trade Baskets from Oak Grove are also a unique gift to share with friends and family.  Each basket will "tell the story" of the missions served through its purchase.  Finally, proceeds and profits from our fair trade baskets will go towards reinvesting in other fair trade products.

To order a Fair Trade Basket, please email Bob Noel at robert.noel@oakgrovelutheran.com.
