ABOUT OUR HOMECOMING EVENTS

NEW! Grover HomeFest: Grover HomeFest is fun for the entire family! Join us before the football game in Oak Grove Park for dinner from local Food Trucks, inflatable games, live music, crafts, carnival and yard games, and time to connect with classmates and friends! Alumni, visit our Alumni Tent to register and receive your 2019 Homecoming gift!

NEW! Friday Night Homecoming Football Game: After Grover HomeFest, stick around to cheer on the Grovers as they take on Hatton Northwood under the Friday Night lights! During half time we will recognize the 2019 Hall of Fame class. Food Trucks will be available through half time along with treats and candy from our concessions stand! Gate admission for the game: $6 for adults, $4 for children

Alumni Open House: This special event for Alumni and their families is a great time to register with the school, connect with classmates, and go on a campus tour. A continental breakfast will be available. We encourage all alumni to register and receive your 2019 Homecoming gift! The registration table will be located at Grover Grounds in the Darwin Gorder Gymnasium lobby. This area continues to be transformed by our student leaders to create a space that encourages and fosters interaction and connection. Also during Homecoming weekend, this space will feature the archives of the 2019 honored classes. We hope you will join fellow alumni, faculty, staff, and students of Oak Grove for reminiscing and fellowship.

Homecoming Worship & Music Festival: This special combined worship and music event for the entire Oak Grove family will take place in the Scheels Center for the Performing Arts. We will partake in Holy Communion and receive an inspiring message. We will also hear from the Concert Band, Chapel Choir, and Concert Choir. To conclude this event, all alumni are invited to join the Concert Choir in the singing of “Beautiful Savior.”  We encourage all Grovers, past and present, as well as their families, to join us for this celebration of our rich tradition rooted in faith and fine arts.

Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Luncheon: Please join us in honoring and celebrating the 2019 Hall of Fame honorees, Marc Langseth (Class of 1969) and Dan Rosenfeldt (Class of 1973). The ceremony and luncheon will include a catered lunch and the honoring of our 2019 Hall of Fame inductees. This event will take place in the Eid Center Oak Grove’s North Campus. This ceremony is open to the public and we hope that you’ll join us. Luncheon cost: $15 – Reservations are recommended. Contact Carrie Pierce at 701.373.7148.
