Homecoming week at Oak Grove is September 14-19, 2020! Though we aren’t able to host our alumni events or reunions this fall, we are still excited to have some Homecoming fun with our students. See the schedule below for campus-specific dress-up days, homecoming athletic events, and more!

HOMECOMING WEEK SCHEDULE

Monday, September 14

  • North Campus Dress-Up Day: Disney Monday
  • South Campus Dress-Up Day: Hat Day

North Campus Students will be walking to Mickelson Park for a picnic lunch and yard games. Students in 9-12 will take part in a Kickball Tournament with grades 6-8 cheering them on! Lunch will be served during the tournament and ice cream treats will be provided by our Advancement Team!

Tuesday, September 15

  • North Campus Dress-Up Day: Tropical/Tourist Day
  • South Campus Dress-Up Day: Jersey Day

North Campus Students will have a Pep-Fest at 2:45pm on the football field, remaining socially distanced. We will celebrate our Volleyball, Boys Tennis, and Boys Soccer athletes!

Volleyball will take on Wyndmere-Lidgerwood at home in Gorder Gymnasium! C-Squad plays at 4:45pm, JV at 6:00pm, and Varsity at 7:00pm. Visit oakgrovelutheran.com/homeathletics for our policies and protocols for attending home athletic events this fall.

Wednesday, September 16

Friday, September 18

  • North Campus Dress-Up Day: Grover Spirit Day
  • South Campus Dress-Up Day: Grover Spirit Day

ALL North Campus students will be on campus (no distance learning day for grades 7-8)

North Campus Students will have another Pep-Fest at 2:45pm on the football field, remaining socially distanced. We will celebrate our Football, Cross Country, and Girls Swimming athletes!

Football will take on Thompson at home on Grover Field at 7:00pm! Visit oakgrovelutheran.com/homeathletics for our policies and protocols for attending home athletic events this fall. We’re excited to be able to stream this Friday’s Homecoming Football game with the help of Magnitude Sports Media Network. There are two ways to stream the game:

  1. Visit www.msportsnet.com, click the “Broadcast” tab and select our game
  2. Visit www.youtube.com/magnitudesports and select our game
 
The game will also be broadcast on the radio at AM 1100 The Flag.
 
A reminder that Magnitude Sports Media Network is the only partner we have live-streaming this week’s football game. Any other events claiming to be streaming our football game are not legitimate.

9th-12th grade students are invited for yard games and a bonfire at the North Campus immediately after the football game until 11:00pm.
