Wishing You All the Best, Mr. Langseth!

Nov 5, 2020 | Alumni, High School, Middle School

In the fall of 1965, a fresh-faced young man walked on to the beautiful North Campus of Oak Grove Lutheran School, ready to spread his wings and fly high as a Grover. Active in choir, basketball, football, and numerous other activities, Marc Langseth graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran School in 1969. A few short years later, Marc began his career at Oak Grove teaching, coaching, and mentoring over 41 years of Grovers.

It is with a mix of emotions that we say goodbye to our teacher, colleague, mentor, coach, and friend, Mr. Langseth as he retires. His accomplishments include a State Basketball championship as a Senior, numerous accolades as a coach both at Oak Grove and at Concordia, many years of facilitating students’ academic success, and most recently a Hall of Fame award in 2019. Mr. Langseth, you will be sorely missed, but we wish you all of the happiness and joy that retirement will bring in the years ahead.

As penned by the great author A. A. Milne, “Goodbye? Oh no, Please. Can’t we go back to page one and do it all over again?” Unfortunately, today, the answer is no, but we CAN hold a special place in our hearts and on our campus for our beloved Mr. Marc Langseth.

Cards and well wishes for Mr. Langseth can be mailed to:
