Rev. John Andreasen served as Oak Grove president from 1991 – 2007. Prior to joining Oak Grove, John served as president of the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute in Camrose, Alberta, for seven years. Called to lead Oak Grove in its evangelical mission, John worked to shape the curriculum in the context of God’s word; to create grace-filled relationships among students, faculty and staff; and to develop a solid financial base within the greater Oak Grove constituency. During John’s tenure, enrollment climbed steadily, the Oak Grove Foundation blossomed, the elementary program came to life and the Centennial Campaign marked a “Century in the Park” with new facilities for future Grovers.
