Jens and Jeanne Tennefos made an impact in business and in politics, but nowhere was their impact greater than at Oak Grove. Starting in 1968 their involvement was passionate and their financial commitment generous. Jens and Jeanne held leadership roles on the Board of Regents and in the Grover Club and annual Bazaar. They volunteered their energy, wisdom and resources to encourage the faculty and administration in holding standards high. A charter member of the Oak Grove Foundation Board, Jens, together with Jeanne, established the Tennefos Presidential Scholarship Fund and a “Student Citizenship Award.” Their commitment to passing on Christian values has supported and encouraged many students and parents, while deepening the impact their legacy on Oak Grove.
