Jerry Brantner was a member of the Oak Grove Board of Regents from 1982 – 1992, serving as chairman for several years. His strong leadership and faith was valued during a critical time in the school’s history. After retiring from a successful law practice, Jerry was responsible for forming the Oak Grove Foundation Board and leading it for eight years as its chairman. He established the Paul and Olive Brantner Family Endowed Scholarship and the Decker J. Waldera Endowment Fund to help students with tuition. Past council member, officer and Sunday School teacher in his local church, Jerry served as a tutor for Hispanic boys for more than 10 years at Bread of Life church in Surprise, Arizona.
